If it’s not a workday, then it’s never too early for a martini! While the classic gin martini is a great brunch idea, you could add extra “breakfast notes” to this beloved bev. In fact, there is a famous cocktail rendition known as the “Morning Martini.”

Bursting with citrus and sweetness, this martini variation is sure to perk you up early in the day. Add a little Tribe CBD oil to the mix, and you’ve got yourself a new brunchtime staple!

CBD Morning Martini Recipe 

Not A Morning Person? You Will Be After Tribe’s CBD Morning Martini!

Traditionally, you should serve the morning martini with a side of toast—because, honestly, what other food better signifies breakfast? However, we understand a lot of people are living a low-carb, gluten-free, or keto lifestyle. So, if you’re not comfortable adding a dreaded slice of bread to your morning martini, you could easily swap it out for an orange garnish.

If you want to get extra fancy, cook a few strips of bacon and add it to your morning martini. You don’t even need to cook your bacon in a skillet. Simply place your bacon strips in the microwave and heat them on medium-high till they reach your desired “crispiness.”

While cooking bacon in the microwave may not be the “best” cooking method, it sure is the easiest. Also, there’s some evidence that microwaved bacon has fewer calories than most other cooking styles. Just be sure to use plenty of paper towels to sop up all that oil!

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon of orange marmalade
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • 1 ½ oz gin
  • ½ oz triple sec
  • 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil  
  • Toast & marmalade, optional

Directions 

  • Pour orange marmalade, lemon juice, gin, and triple sec into a cocktail shaker
  • Shake with ice until well-chilled
  • Strain into a pre-chilled martini glass
  • Top with Tribe CBD oil
  • Serve with toast and marmalade if desired
