Do you feel the traditional martini is missing a little “something, something?” If so, you may want to swap the dry vermouth for Scotch whiskey. Just a nip of Scotch is all it takes to make this famous cocktail extra “smoky.”
People who are already fans of Scotch drinks will love this Smoky Martini recipe. Oh yeah, and don’t forget to add some Tribe CBD oil to make your Smoky Martini sizzle.
CBD Smoky Martini Recipe
Did you know you could enjoy the smoky flavors of a BBQ brisket without using a smoker? All you need is a bottle of liquid smoke!
As strange as it may sound, manufacturers have been “bottling smoke” for hundreds of years. In fact, there’s a good chance that manufacturers made the “smoky” meats you adore with liquid smoke.
While BBQ snobs argue liquid smoke is a “cheater’s way” to get a high-quality meal, we bet most at-home chefs won’t care all that much authenticity. If you’re looking for a quick way to add some smokiness to your favorite meals, be sure to use liquid smoke as your “secret ingredient.”
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin
- ⅛ oz Scotch
- Lemon peel
- 1 dropperful Tribe CBD oil
Directions
- Pour gin, Tribe CBD oil, and Scotch into a stirring glass
- Add one large ice cube and stir till well-chilled
- Strain into a pre-chilled martini glass
- Garnish with lemon peel
Speaking of “smoky,” did you know many people have begun smoking hemp CBD flowers? Indeed, many farmers now offer federally-legal hemp buds that people grind and smoke just like a traditional joint. You may have even seen a few “hemp cigarettes” popping up in gas stations.
Of course, since hemp has ≤ 0.3 percent THC, there’s no risk people will feel “high” while smoking these flowers. Instead, many customers report feeling the relaxing effects of CBD and the flavors of traditional cannabis strains.
At this point, there’s no solid evidence supporting the therapeutic use of smokable CBD products. Also, since these hemp buds resemble marijuana flowers, a few states have outlawed CBD smoking.
While smokable CBD flowers may be fashionable, please remember it’s not without risks. Like smoking tobacco, you will inhale some carcinogens when lighting a hemp CBD joint. For a safer CBD experience, we’d recommend checking out Tribe’s lab-verified CBD tinctures, edibles, and topicals.
Could Tribe CBD Help Nicotine Smokers?
Interestingly, many cigarette smokers are using CBD oil to help kick their nicotine addiction. There’s even a bit of science that suggests CBD may reduce cigarette cravings. For instance, one study out of University College London found that smokers who took CBD oil had ~ 40 percent fewer cigarettes than those treated without CBD.
While these findings are promising, please remember it’s just preliminary research. Hopefully, as scientists research CBD’s effect on nicotine cravings, physicians will know how to use it as an adjunct therapy. Until then, it’s always best to speak with a doctor if you or a loved one wants to ditch nicotine addiction.
